Until August 2015, I was a Senior Columnist at Feministing, the world’s most-read feminist publication. Feministing was founded by Jessica and Vanessa Valenti in 2004, to provide an online voice for young feminists. Today, Feministing is a respected and influential blog that provides thoughtful and provocative analysis of politics, popular culture, and the state of feminism today. We also curse a lot. I joined the Feministing team in August 2009.

At Feministing, I founded the Feministing Five interview series, for which I interviewed a diverse range of activists, writers, comedians, and politicians. In the two years during which I ran the series, I interviewed Senator Al Franken, Rachel Maddow, Alice Walker, Melissa Harris-Perry, and A.S. Byatt, to name a few.

In 2010, I set myself the task of seeing and reviewing every romantic comedy that was released in theaters. The result was another series, The Feministing Rom Com Review.

Below is a selection of my best and most popular writing at Feministing.
